Turbid zoning
EK1-18. Chevron zoning is shown at the bottom of the image.
The region of abundant fluid inclusions is seen as irregular dark spots
in the chevron shape immediately above the white zone. Turbid zoning
is seen above the region of fluid inclusions. A large, irregular
black fracture cuts from the northeast to the southwest of the image.
Bright spots are corundum remaining from thin section polishing process.
