Saswata Hier-Majumder

We are interested in the dynamics of the deep interior of the Earth. Our research involves primarily theoretical determination of migration and storage of melts, physical properties of partially molten rocks, chemical and seismic signals of melt reservoirs at the core mantle boundary, and interaction between deformation and melt migration.
