Research Interests

High-Temperature Geochemistry, Igneous Petrology, Komatiites and other high MgO rocks

I study isotope and trace metal distributions in komatiites, which are high melt fraction Precambrian volcanic rocks, in an effort to determine the oxidation state and composition of the deep Earth across geologic time.
