Scott Burdick

Scott joined the Seismological Laboratory at the University of Maryland in Fall of 2014, having completed a Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Scott has worked on global seismic tomography, and on developing new methods for obtaining tomographic images of the Earth’s interior using array recordings of reflected teleseismic waves.

In Fall of 2017, Scott left our lab to join the faculty at Wayne State University. You can keep up on his current accomplishments and adventures here.
