Research Interests
My current research is focused on stable isotope cosmochemistry and meteoritics. Using elements with several stable isotopes it is possible to delve into problems regarding stellar nucleosynthesis, cosmic ray spallation, planetary formation, and chemical reactions in the solar nebula. In particular I am interested in explaining the mass-independent fractionation of sulfur isotopes in Achondrite meteorites, and the apparent lack of this feature in Chondrites.
