Research Interests
Geo- and cosmochemical topics including: (1) Differentiation processes in the deep earth such as mantle melting and core-mantle interaction. (2) Hydrothermal and melting processes in the continental crust and in subduction and collision zones. (3) Global mass balances and element transfer at plate margins. (4) Element fractionation and chronology of events in the early solar system,and the formation of refractory inclusions, chondrules, and chondritic metal. (5) Geochronology, metamorphism, and cooling histories and exhumation of high-grade and high-pressure metamorphic rocks.
