Research Interests
Study of biogeochemical sulfur cycle with emphasis on reduced and organic sulfur compounds; study of reactions between organic pollutants and reduced sulfur species; development of complex analytical protocols, based on the chromatographic and spectrophotometric techniques, which allow speciation of sulfide oxidation intermediates in natural aquatic systems; development of techniques based on the off-line chromatography – rare sulfur isotopes mass-spectrometry, which allow differentiation between biotic and abiotic sources of sulfide oxidation intermediates.
