Research Interests
My primary research interest is in Arctic climate change (both on land and in the sea) and its influence on effective weather forecasting. Sea ice decline is having a profound effect on numerous facets of the Arctic ocean currents, ocean-atmosphere interaction, geologic bathymetry, and local ecosystems. I am currently exploring the relationship between declining shore-fast sea ice and its effects on the Alaskan North coastal local climate over the past decade. |
