Research Interests
My current research focuses on two aspects of mid-ocean ridge geodynamics using a combination of numerical modeling techniques from COMSOL Multiphysics and MATLAB with observations from bathymetric maps of the seafloor morphology. In particular, I'm analyzing the rift interactions within the Galapagos (Pacific Ocean) and the Rodriguez (Indian Ocean) ridge-ridge-ridge triple junctions. The second aspect of my research concentrates on understanding the thermal structure of the Southwest Indian and extreme Northern Mid-Atlantic ultraslow-spreading ridges.
