Research Interests
My research efforts are currently focused on lithium concentrations and isotopic compositions of low-grade metamorphic rocks (mudrocks from British Caledonides and Otago schist New Zealand). Do lithium isotopes fractionate during low-grade metamorphic dehydration; what are the factors that control Li signature in low-grade metamorphic rocks; and does weathering factor play a significant role? In order to answer these questions, I am also interested in measuring major, minor and trace element abundances, as well as Sr and Nd isotopic compositions of these rocks by using plasma mass spectrometry.
