Research Interests
Research Interests: My primary research interest is in reactions between Earth's core and mantle, both now and during planetary differentiation. This requires experimental study of the physical and thermodynamic properties of metals and coexisting oxides at high pressures and temperatures. I am currently investigating the partitioning of tungsten between metals and silicates/oxides, by thermodynamic analysis and direct experiment, using diamond-anvil cell and multi-anvil press methods.
