Research Interests I study deformation behavior and transport properties of sediments from the Nankai accretionary prism. My plan is to conduct laboratory experiments using a triaxial deformation apparatus and carry out numerical simulations using finite element models. My goal is to provide new insight into the hydromechanical and seismogenic processes operating within the accretionary wedge
