Responses to Deniers and Critics
Many scientific, governmental, research, and educational agencies have websites providing information of
various levels of technicality about the science of climate change. Here is a smattering of English language
ones:
Some organizations deny some or all of the research discoveries of climate change scientists. We include links
to their sites not out of a sense of wishy-washy, namby-pamby Baby Boomer "fairness", but instead because
it is important for your science education to be aware of these often-cited non-scientific claims. As you know
well, Science isn't about fairness: it is simply our attempt to most closely approximate the actual conditions of the physical
universe. If the individuals and agencies cited below have valid criticisms of the current state of research,
let them submit their criticisms to the same scrutiny as the researchers above, to stand or fall against
tests of the natural world.
While the mainstream scientific organizations generally do not respond directly to the deniers and critics,
some individuals have taken their time out of research or business to blog rebuttals to them. Here are some
