Examples of Student Projects in the LMDR

Adam is performing experiments on the solubility of magnetite in rhyolitic systems, and the partitioning behavior of Au between magmatic vapor, brine and silicate melt. His experiments have implications in our understanding of the role of how intensive parameters (e.g. P, T, salinity) play a role in the ability of Au to be transported in felsic magmatic systems.
