I am seeking graduate students to work with me in a variety of research areas that involve mass transfer and fluid-rock interactions at high temperatures. Current research opportunities include a study of vein-hosted mass transfer in metavolcanic roc= ks of the Sierra Nevadas, study of subduction zone rocks of the Franciscan Complex in California looking for evidence of fluid-rock interactions using lithium isotopes, study of fluid-rock interactions in ultramafic rocks in the Bergell contact aureole in northern Italy, and stud= y of magma-wall rock interactions in the contact aureole of the Bushveld Complex in South Africa.
