Comments: This was the view from the field on which guests camped for the last ever Eagle Mountain Pig Roast. On the previous year, there had been a tornado. This time, despite the relentless rain, a very good time was had, with lots of music and alchohol. Nevertheless, there was a constant edge to the thing. Some people, full of God knows how much alchohol, took their rifles intot he woods for target practice. Some took chainsaws to recently downed trees for firewood, and at night, there were just lots of drunks running around. No disasters occurred, but I understand why the hosts decided to call the event off in subsequent years.
