Comments: Inside the ring of mountains defining the Valles Caldera is this peaceful looking expanse of meadow. The small hillat left is a resurgent dome - a geologically recent squeeze-up of viscous lava. This place, with it's ominous history and active hot springs, is surely volcanically active today.
