Research Interests

My primary interests in geology and geophysics lie in understanding the Earth's mid-ocean ridge system.

This includes their morphology, structure, processes, and evolution, with primary focus on magma injection, melt migration, and geochemistry.

I use 3-D numerical modeling to analyze the structure and processes of ultra-slow ridges (e.g. SW-Indian), as well as triple junctions (e.g. Azores). I use geochemical, petrological, geodetic, gravity, magnetic, and seismic data sets to constrain, and make more robust, the computer modeling.
