Zac Reeves

reevesReReThe focus of my research is to use seismology to characterize the variations of elastic properties in the crust and mantle lithosphere across the California Continental Borderland and Pacific-North American plate boundary. I will also be quantifying and analyzing the differences between oceanic and continental lithosphere-asthenosphere boundaries. I hope to contribute to a better understanding of the differences between the formation of continental and oceanic tectonic plates.

In May, 2014, Zac graduated with a Master's Degree in Geology. He is currently employed at the National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC) of the United States Geological Survey in Golden, Colorado.
